At the same time, this initiative didn’t begin with just the three of us.
It started over a year ago, in collaboration with Magdalena Kaspryszyn and Karolina Błońska from HoloMind, friends, collaborators, and an important part of the early vision of this network.
They helped create the first space where these ideas could take shape, including supporting us with website hosting and the initial platform.
Thank you, HoloMind!
The Psychedelic Women’s Network grew from a shared sense that something important was missing.
Conversations between women working across different parts of the psychedelic field began to reveal the same patterns, the same gaps, and the same questions coming up again and again.
Over time, this evolved into something more intentional.
Today, the network is founded by three of us - Angelika, Tali, and Manal-each coming from different backgrounds, but connected through our work in psychedelic therapy, research, and education.
What brought us together was not just professional alignment, but a shared recognition that women’s voices, bodies, and experiences are still not fully represented in this field.
Alongside this, the network has been shaped from the beginning by a wider circle of women contributing across research, therapy, education, and humanitarian work, each bringing their own perspective and expertise into what this is becoming.
From the beginning, this has been a collective effort, bringing together women across disciplines, countries, and perspectives.
Our first public step took place around the “Women in Psychedelics: Diverse Perspectives – Equal Voice” initiative, which reflects what we continue to stand for today: different voices, equal space, and meaningful collaboration.
